I love the look of pearls. However, in recent years we
haven’t really seen a lot of contemporary designs that highlight the beauty of
pearls. Many feel that they are a bit old fashion and shy away from using them.
This design blends the old with the new. We’ll use the old fashion look of a
freshwater pearl with a contemporary ring design to give us a nice updated look.

Brooches have been a beautiful accessory to
women’s dresses, business suits, and jacket lapels for many, many years.
However, brooches seem to be a piece of jewelry that most wire artists have
overlooked. I think that it’s time that we resurrect this wonderful piece of
art. The feather brooch is a wonderful project to bring back this classic
design.
